New Order recently released "Live in Glasgow," a live performance DVD remastered and edited hands-on by band members Peter Hook and Stephen Morris. With the rare opportunity to speak with an electronic music legend, we chatted with bassist Peter Hook about the live experience, the roots of Joy Division, the current crop of electronic bands they have influenced, and of course- the future.

Murk Profile
Murk has embodied the sound of Miami’s house scene for over fifteen years. Bass-heavy, deep, and dark, the sound of Murk has been resonating throughout clubs and on the radio pretty much constantly since the dup of Falcon and Gaetan first started. Under their Funky Green Dogs alias, they had an international pop hit with their song “Fired Up!,” and the two have maintained a successful production and mixing team even as they’ve each had solo projects and success.

Nick Teranova and Austin Leeds - Nervous Nitelife Interview
The mixed compilation series Nervous Nitelife focuses both on genres (Electro Sweat, Summer Clubbing) and location (Miami). Bringing the Nervous Nitelife series to Las Vegas, Austin Leeds and Nick Terranova teamed up for a dirty, sexy, and housey CD/DVD compilation. Having produced or remixed half of the tracks in the mix, Nick and Austin definitely show that they are the real deal.

Locked in the studio and only occasionally leaving to DJ at their residencies, the two produce incredible dance music that sounds great in the club and on the radio.

Danny Howells - Dig Deeper Interview with Danny Howells
Frustrated with the cookie-cutter two-hour sets that he is often forced to play at bigger clubs, Danny Howells revolted and created his own party – Dig Deeper – as a venue for him to explore longer sets. With the stamina to do up to 12-hour sets, Danny will be bringing Dig Deeper party back to South Beach for Winter Music Conference this year. Known for his mixed CDs as well as productions, Danny is planning new productions and a new mixed CD this summer.

"Push Me/ and Then Just Touch Me/ Til I Can Get My/ Satisfaction" are the words heard in clubs around the world in the smash hit "Satisfaction" by Benny Benassi. Coming from Reggio Emilia in Italy, Benny works with his cousin Alle as part of the Off Limits team organized by Larry Pignagnoli. Throngs of people were huddled for blocks on both sides of the street as the fire marshals controlled entry to the club where David Guetta rocked the decks.
